About Us
Set in the centre of the peaceful conservation village of Allanton, Berwickshire, The Allanton Inn is a charming coaching inn dating from the eighteenth century.
William and Katrina Reynolds are delighted to return to the Scottish Borders to take over and run the Allanton Inn. Using our expertise and that of our dedicated team, we have transformed the inn to provide unparalleled hospitality in the Scottish Borders. A traditional dining pub, relaxed, friendly and professionally run, we welcome locals, families, tourists and weekenders alike.
The inn offers informal dining in a modern rural environment. This is provided by wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs, brightly coloured and contemporary soft furnishings, artwork, subtle lighting and an open log fire. There is an enclosed private beer garden with open views over the Borders’countryside. The six bedrooms provide comfort and relaxation with modern facilities.
The Allanton Inn is a perfect retreat and provides an excellent base for exploring the many fascinating places of interest throughout the Scottish Borders and Northumberland and to indulge in the wealth of outdoor activities that the area has to offer. Truly an all year round destination!
