Fine wines, real ales and many varieties of gin!

The delicious, seasonal food we serve can be complemented with our selection of fine wines [PDF], real ales and other drinks from our well stocked bar. We stock around over 30 different gins, 10 malt whiskys, several brands of tequila, rum & liqueurs. In addition, we have a good range of soft drinks.

Fine Wines

The wines have been selected individually for a wine list compiled by William and he continuously reviews the list and suppliers for quality and price which always includes an excellent range of wines from our favourite French man & wine merchant Monsieur Philippe from L’Art Du Vin.

Real Ales

William is very particular about his cellar and enjoys getting real ales from a variety of suppliers, mostly Scottish or local, to provide our ale drinkers a constantly changing choice of interesting and quality ales.

Hot Drinks

Our coffee machine is always on, and we serve a variety of hot drinks throughout the day. The coffee beans are sourced from Brodies of Musselburgh.

Relax

Whatever your tipple, you can enjoy your drink inside or can wander outside to the beer garden to make the most of the tranquillity and beautiful rural view. The bar also doubles as an exhibtion space with some interesting ‘exhibts’ and information about local history, suppliers & places to visit.  Guests are welome to help themselves to any reading material, dominoes and table games to enjoy while relaxing with a drink or two.
